PM Shehbaz Welcomes 13% Year-on-Year Growth

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over $3.6 billion in remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis in July 2026.
The Prime Minister said the 13% year-on-year increase in remittances during July 2026 was highly encouraging.
He noted that remittances also recorded a 4.5% month-on-month increase in July, describing the rise as a positive development for the national economy.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the consistent and positive contribution of overseas Pakistanis to Pakistan’s economic stability and growth.
The Prime Minister said that overseas Pakistanis are a valuable part of the national economic mainstream, and their remittances are playing an important role in strengthening the country’s economy.
