Record Increase in Property Transactions Also Reported in Pakistan**

The Federal Board of Revenue collected Rs44 billion in income tax from the salaried class in July 2026.
According to FBR officials, Rs42 billion was collected from the salaried class in July last year, while around Rs30 billion was collected in July 2024.
The figures show a significant increase in income tax collected from the salaried class over the past two years.
Meanwhile, Rs15.5 billion was collected as advance income tax on the buying and selling of property during the last month.
Around 90,000 property transactions were recorded in July 2026, compared with 60,000 transactions in July 2025.
According to FBR officials, property transactions increased by around 50 percent in one year.
