Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail inaugurates the airline’s domestic service

South Air has officially commenced its flight operations in Pakistan, marking a significant milestone in enhancing air connectivity across Balochistan. The airline launched its first domestic service, which will connect Quetta and Turbat with major cities across the country, offering passengers faster and more convenient travel options.
The inaugural ceremony was held in Quetta, where Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail formally inaugurated South Air’s domestic operations. Speaking on the occasion, officials described the launch as an important step toward strengthening the province’s aviation network and improving travel facilities for the people of Balochistan.
According to airline officials, the new service will provide direct connectivity between Quetta, Turbat, and Pakistan’s major urban centers, reducing travel time and facilitating business, tourism, and social mobility.
Officials further stated that South Air is committed to providing safe, modern, and comfortable air travel for the people of Balochistan, while improving access between the province and the rest of the country.
They added that the airline plans to expand its route network in the future, with the aim of connecting more cities across Balochistan to Pakistan’s national aviation network.
