Pakistan’s security forces are continuing intelligence-based Operation Al-Azm against militant groups in Balochistan, according to security sources.
The sources said that security forces carried out a successful operation in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, where four militants, identified by the sources as belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan, were killed.
A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and other military equipment was recovered during the operation. Security forces also seized motorcycles allegedly used by the militants.
According to security sources, several other militants were injured during the operation, although the exact number has not been confirmed.
The sources further stated that multiple individuals suspected of facilitating militant activities were taken into custody. Search and clearance operations remain underway, with security forces maintaining full control and surveillance of the area.
Security sources said intelligence-based operations have been intensified following recent militant attacks in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung.
According to the sources, security operations will continue until militancy is eliminated and lasting peace and stability are restored in the region.
