The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leadership has decided to assign a more active role to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s eldest son, Hamza Shehbaz, in federal politics. According to sources, Hamza Shehbaz’s responsibilities at the federal level have been finalized, and he is expected to play a key role in the party’s political affairs from Islamabad.
Sources said Hamza Shehbaz will become more actively involved in federal politics and will be based in Islamabad to oversee his new responsibilities. He is also expected to spend time at the Prime Minister’s Office, where he will participate in consultations on political and governmental matters.
According to sources, Hamza Shehbaz has been entrusted with overseeing the PML-N’s political affairs at the federal level. He will work to strengthen coordination between the party leadership, federal ministers, coalition partners, and key government figures.
Sources further revealed that Hamza Shehbaz will begin a series of meetings in Islamabad with party leaders, coalition partners, and members of Parliament to enhance political coordination and improve communication between the government and the ruling party.
He is also expected to hold regular consultations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on political, governmental, and organizational matters, while playing an active role in shaping the party’s political strategy and major policy decisions.
Sources believe Hamza Shehbaz’s enhanced role in Islamabad is likely to accelerate the PML-N’s political activities and further strengthen coordination between the government and the party leadership.
