Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has departed for Tehran for a series of high-level meetings with Iranian officials to discuss progress in the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States.
According to Iran’s state news agency IRNA, Naqvi is expected to hold talks with senior Iranian leaders, including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, as part of Pakistan’s continued diplomatic engagement aimed at facilitating dialogue between Tehran and Washington.
The visit comes amid Pakistan’s sustained efforts to support regional stability and encourage diplomatic channels between Iran and the United States, with Islamabad playing an increasingly active mediatory role in recent months.
